Situated across from Vimy Ridge Park, the Thelma Apartments is a Tudor Style Building. The Thelma overlooks a green space over 2 hectares, one of the City of Winnipeg's first public parks. The $50, 000 project began in 1914, and was designed to attract middle income tenants.
The three upper floors of the building had only four suites each.
The block has experienced little exterior or interior alterations, preserving the character of the building.
